Position Overview

Working as a Book Sales Associate is a dream come true for many people, specifically college students who can relate to and make connections to the concept of code-switching. Book Sales Associates earn 20% of the commission from each book sale. Earn $1,000.00 in your first month when you sell 200 books. Terms apply. 

If you are not familiar with code-switching, do not worry, you will get trained and educated on the concept, your target audience(s) that are desperately looking to get their copy of the book, and more. 

We are looking for dedicated and self-motivated Book Sales Associates committed to diligently seeking prospective colleges, schools, departments, and corporations who are in alignment with advocating for social and racial justice in the capacity of education. 

Job Description

• Serves customers by pitching products; meeting customer needs.

• Seek out colleges, seeking prospective colleges, schools, departments, and corporations who align with advocating for social and racial justice in the capacity of education.

• Provide our target audience(s) with information on the concept of code-switching and how the book can bring real change to the institution

• Establish and maintain a relationship with the colleges, schools, departments, and corporations that you are in connection with

• Exhibit professionalism and punctuality always when seeking and closing on book sales

• Consistently provide excellent customer service

• Remain knowledgeable on the book's information and how It can bring real change to colleges, schools, departments, and corporations.

 Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Customer service experience

• Dependable transportation

• Experience working within an education setting

• Evidence of strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Marketing Degree or Relevant courses

• Evidence of Sales Experience

• Evidence of Marketing Experience

• Evidence of commitment to social and racial justice in higher education

• Strong Interpersonal Skills

• Experience working within a collegiate Setting
